I have been helping US veterans find employment and to start businesses for 45 years. Many that I help are service disabled. Some have prosthetics, some have other kinds of injuries; and some have PTSD and find it difficult to work a typical 40-hour a week. I have focused largely on assisting these men and women by creating alternative employment options.
One of my options is US Military Maintenance. It is a business for US veterans to own and then to hire other US veterans and their spouses. It is a very lucrative business to have, with an extremely low start-up cost and overhead.
Now is a great time to get going. We are on the verge of getting several national accounts that have locations in almost every state and city in America. With these accounts, we will be able to provide national liability insurance that covers all USMM business owners.
The first thing we do is to build you an independent website for your US Military Maintenance business. we make sure that you have business cards and that you are found on Google searches, including a listing on Google Maps. That way, anyone looking for “janitorial, maintenance, or cleaning,” in your area will find you.
We have all of your equipment sent to you. And then we work together to find you new accounts and to get you on TV and in the media.
After that, we review how to clean the accounts that you get, and recruit the employees that you need. That will get you started. Then we will be alongside of you every step of the way as you build your business. By “we” I mean other successful USMM business owners and myself. We are team of US veterans. We are “All for one and one for all.”
If you are still in the US military, this is a business that you can start even before you transition back into the civilian world. Most of the work is at night, cleaning offices.
