U.S. Circulated Silver Coins

Silver coin values below are based on the live bid price at the CME. These coins were in standard circulation until silver was removed from all coinage in 1965 and 1970 (40% silver half-dollars). The values below only reflect the silver value, not rarity or numismatic value. This table should only be used as a guide for buying and selling silver coins. All values shown in USD.

* The U.S. Mint issued two compositions of the nickel in 1942. The standard copper-nickel composition used today and the 35% silver version listed here.
** The 40% silver version of the Eisenhower dollar was issued as a collectible only, they are generally not found in circulation. The best way to distinguish the two versions is by weight. The copper-nickel version weighs 22.68 grams, the silver Ike dollar weighs 24.59 grams.

I recognized a need to offer additional diversification options to my clients, current as well as future. This is where Semper Pacific Wealth Strategies comes into the picture. Semper Pacific Wealth Strategies is a subsidiary of Forex Direct Trading which provides like minded investors the ability to divest. Prior to this I was a Co-Owner of USA Futures and Options functioning in the capacity as one of two Lead analyst and Director of Trading.
