Friends of Veterans Radio

Posted by on January 15, 2013 in Entertainment

HirePatriots.com host a bi-weekly blogtalk radio show, “Friends of Veterans.” It’s purpose is to spread the news about individuals, organizations, non-profits, businesses and  agencies that assist US veterans and their families. We have over 130 HirePatriots Business members. These are companies with which we have formed a synergistic partnership. They help us to promote HirePatriots, and we help promote them. We do this on our website, in the social media, by getting them on TV and radio for free. We also get them free publicity in the press. And we schedule speaking appointments for them at organizations and conventions. We also publish books about veteran employment through Inspired Authors press. Or next book will come out in March: “An American Crisis: Veteran Unemployment.” That book contains 22 chapters from veterans and the companies that hire them.  — But you do not have to be a HirePatriots member to be on our show.

Our next Friends of Veterans radio show will be on January 23 at 9 AM Pacific time. We will be interviewing Seldon Graham, a World War II Army veteran who became the lawyer for the largest oil company in the world. He has great advice for job seekers. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/friends-of-us-veterans/2013/01/23/an-american-crisis-veteran-unemployment. Join us or listen to the recorded show later.

Next month, we will interview the US General who created the US Army transition program, A.C.A.P (The Army Career Alumni Program). He was also a director with the Red Cross. — General Jones has contributed a great chapter in our upcoming book as well.

Mark Baird

Hello, I'm Mark Baird and I founded Hire Patriots. My wife and I are 'helpers.' We are concerned about meeting the practical needs of our US veterans veterans and their families. We began a job board for local residents to post chores that they need help with. It has been very successful. Thousands of local US Military and veterans partially or entirely support themselves from our website. We are looking for others near US Military bases who would also like to have a HirePatriots.com website for their location. Find more information about our military programs at PatrioticHearts.org. And please make a contribution of any kind. Thank you.
