I recommend this veteran organization to you. AMVETS has been around since World War II. They assist US military and veterans with necessities for living. They provide furniture and appliances to veterans in need of them. They also open Thrift stores and offer their excess donated items to the community. These local stores and organizations are run by local US veterans.
