How to get Jobs for GIs and Vets

Posted by on January 10, 2011 in Jobs For Veterans

This is a video made for the HirePatriots leaders and supporters across the US. It gives you several suggestions on how to get jobs posted on each regional job board.

Many enlisted members of our military struggle financially, especially those with families. And too many veterans who have left the military cannot find any full time job. And so they turn to HirePatriots’ “One Day” jobs. These are jobs that local residents post whenever they need help with chores or repairs done. — Local businesses that want to hire local veterans also use our job board.

Saying “Thank You” by hiring a local GI or vet is a great way to show your appreciation and patriotism. It means a great deal. — Combat vets, in particular, need to meet patriotic civilians who truly appreciate and honor their struggles and sacrifices. It is very therapeutic for them to know that we care.

Join our rapidly growing league of patriotic citizens and businesses across America. — Or just print out our posters and fliers and do some of the things suggested in this video.

God bless you and our beloved country that is sustained by our those who volunteer to risk their lives for our freedoms.

Hello, I'm Mark Baird and I founded Hire Patriots. My wife and I are 'helpers.' We are concerned about meeting the practical needs of our US veterans veterans and their families. We began a job board for local residents to post chores that they need help with. It has been very successful. Thousands of local US Military and veterans partially or entirely support themselves from our website. We are looking for others near US Military bases who would also like to have a HirePatriots.com website for their location. Find more information about our military programs at PatrioticHearts.org. And please make a contribution of any kind. Thank you.
