Some people have an innate personality that offends everyone. And some of us change and develop it because of difficult life experiences. — Many combat veterans experience this transformation. — It is an instinctual response that people have towards these peculiar persons. – They do no one any harm. In fact, they may even spend their lives serving the very people who treat them with disdain. — So it is always difficult for “normal” people to define and explain their innate dislike. — Perhaps it is pheromones: a scent smelled sub-consciously that dictates our attraction or not to others we meet. These people must have been born without natural attraction or lost it afterwards.
The disdain for these people is rarely due to the quality of their characters. In fact, many of the naturally despised people on Earth are some of our greatest achievers. Almost all humans with extraordinary minds, hearts and talents, even if they are adored and loved publicly, have difficult personal lives and are very lonely people.
And I am convinced that there are two primary reasons for these people’s creation and existence:
One, it is probably due to the personal rejection they feel and experience that drives them to become involved with society in constructive ways. Consequently, these people are like sparks inside the valves of combustible engines. They make things happen! They are uncomfortably difficult to feel at ease with. They are obviously different and not members of the herd, eventhough they long to be. – And so they are driven by loneliness to win others love by using all of their energy and talent being loving to them, despite knowing that it is futile. – They are our servants. Society benefits constantly because of their efforts.
Two: God created them this way. – Here is a description one of these rejected used to describe his experience: “We bless those who curse us. We are patient with those who abuse us. We respond gently when evil things are said about us. Yet we are treated like the world’s garbage, like everyone’s trash.”
And here is what the Bible says is God’s reason for making them this way: “God deliberately chose things the world considers foolish… those who are powerless… those despised and counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important, so that no one can boast in the presence of God.”
So eventhough you might be considered as worthless, you are of value. You accomplish far more than those who boast of their deeds. And your humble service will convict them when we all stand before our Maker. — And be assured, although you are lonely and friendless here, God will reward you many times over in Heaven.
