Why You Should Be a Veteran Business Owner

Owning a business is the right decision for many veterans. A business owner is in control of their destiny.  There are no limits to how big you can grow or how much money you can make. And you have the fulfilling satisfaction of being an employer.

Of course, you could buy an existing business, or become a franchisee; but, starting up a company of your own imagination and desire is far more advantageous. – Microsoft, Apple, and thousands of other hugely successful businesses began in garages. Your business can too.

I started a business of my own when I was a young man, and it continues to provide for my family and many others, four decades later. And the income from that business has funded many programs for veterans throughout the years. I have had the joy of being able to positively affect many lives, because I owned a successful business. – You can too.

I made my fortune in commercial and residential maintenance. We cleaned offices, construction sites, residences for sale or to rent. We cleaned carpets, polished floors, washed windows, painted houses, pressure washed, landscaped, and did simple electrical and plumbing repairs.

US veterans are starting this same business all across America. They are building successful US Military Maintenance businesses, and employing teams of veterans.  Each is an independent veteran-owned business owner, but a part of a national team that helps eachother to achieve success. All of them are dedicated to employing as many US veterans as they can, and to pay them a livable wage.

US Military Maintenance is a program of Patriotic Hearts, a 501c3 non-profit.  Our goal is to create 1000 US Military Maintenanceveteran-owned business that collectively employ 100,000 US veterans and their spouses.

We provide you all the equipment that you need to get started, a multi-page website, training, on-line certification courses, mentoring by myself and our best USMM owners. We provide you with everything you need and to get started right away.

Do you want to be a US veteran business owner? Are you ready to take control of your destiny? -- Let me know. Let’s talk, fill in the details and answer all of your questions.

Hello, I'm Mark Baird and I founded Hire Patriots. My wife and I are 'helpers.' We are concerned about meeting the practical needs of our US veterans veterans and their families. We began a job board for local residents to post chores that they need help with. It has been very successful. Thousands of local US Military and veterans partially or entirely support themselves from our website. We are looking for others near US Military bases who would also like to have a website for their location. We also hold welcome home parties, military marriage retreats, job fairs and create military family gardens.
