The Tipton Group is looking for a Porter/Groundskeeper to help maintain a clean, attractive, and welcoming apartment community for our residents, prospective residents, and guests.

This is a hands-on position and an important part of our property team. If you enjoy staying active, working outdoors, and being part of a team, we’d like to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As a Groundskeeper/Porter, you’ll help keep our community looking its best every day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Walk the property and maintain the overall appearance of the community
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the grounds
• Keep sidewalks, parking lots, common areas, and building exteriors clean
• Perform routine custodial duties around the property
• Assist with light landscaping and general grounds upkeep
• Help maintain the leasing office and surrounding areas
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate team member
• Assist the maintenance team with general tasks and special projects as needed
• Help create a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors

• Dependable and ready to work
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and courteous with residents, visitors, and coworkers
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks
• Able to follow directions and complete assigned tasks
• Proud of their work and attentive to the appearance of the community
• High school diploma or GED
• Some related experience is preferred
