As new businesses are created, an equal number disappear. There are jobs still to be found, but you must know the secret to doing it the way that works.
More and more every day companies are hiring people recommended by their own employees. They even reward employees for doing so. Referrals have always been the best way to build a business and a reputation. Referrals are also the way to get the right job for you. — This has always been repeated throughout history: “It is not what you know, but who you know.”
The key to finding a job today is to connect to companies and some employees that work for those companies. Get to know people in the company. Let them get to know you. Make comments. Post new discussions. Like every comment. Send an invitation to connect to those in the company that post or that respond to yours. Do not let them know that you are looking for a job right away. Build a relationship first. Let them find out about you and what you know about and your enthusiasm for that particular industry. Then you can request recommendations and let them know that you would love to work for their company and why. — Find the Hiring Manager. H.R. Director, or one of their assistants or recruiters. Let them know about your recommendations from the employees that you know. Say that you would like to apply for a particular open position. and send them a link to your LinkedIn profile. — This is the secret to finding a good job today.
