Education
Experience
In my department I was responsible to take care of ordinance and equipment on HS-60B helicopters. I was also responsible for my subordinates and making sure they knew how to do a proper maintenance on Bru-14s and other ordinance equipment. I was responsible for keeping an eye on my subordinates and training them as well as making sure they stayed out of trouble. I also spent time in the USS Nimitz were I was responsible for keeping the temperature, cleaning, organizing and chaining down of all or ordnance. We would also assemble bombs and missiles before we would send them to the flight deck to get launched. I was temporarily assigned to security where I got qualified in different guns such as a shotgun, M-16 and 9mm. Before I dealt with ordinance fields such as aviation fueling and I was also in the line shack. In the line shack we would wash and prep the airlines before the pilots would fly them. As a Petty Officer I also performed various duties including working in the squadron’s store, maintenance and janitorial tasks in the restrooms and dining areas. I also worked as a storekeeper and we keep records of all the things we purchased as a squadron. I also assisted in cooking meals. Temporarily assigned to various departments.
