Experience
I currently work as a heavy equipment mechanic with the Marine Corps, some duties my job involves repairing diesel engines, conducting PMI's (Preventative Maintenance Inspections: oil, filter, other liquid changes), repairing hydraulic lines, cylinders, as well as electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Aside from my Military Occupation, in the Marine Corps I've learned to enhance my patience, discipline, accountability, organization, respect, and my ability to work and think under pressure.
was the lead waitress at a busy Mexican restaurant, where my quick decision making skills, patience, and calm attitude, despite the pressure of a high paced environment, developed. I was able to communicate effectively with any customer due to my ability to speak fluent Spanish, English, and French. I was also responsible for training new incoming waitresses, helping them memorize the menu, the daily cleaning routine, how to work the register, and gave them tips on how to handle the stress of the rush hour. As well as lifting heavy objects, for long periods of time.
