Start A Free Job Board for Veterans in Your Town

HirePatriots.com offers veterans, and patriotic citizens the opportunity to get their own website, blog, and job board for their local US Military and Veterans. — Local US military, veterans, and their spouses, find employment and extra income every day from our site.

I live next to a US Marine Base, Camp Pendleton in Oceanside. (See image above). My site helps hundreds of local US military, veterans and as many residents in San Diego, every month! We were voted as the Number 1 News Story of the year in our county’s major newspaper. The largest local business association with over 2000 business members, The LEAD Foundation, honored HirePatriots with their Visionary Award for stimulating our local economy, and the County Supervisors called and gave us $100,000 to support what we do for their constituents. And our local TV, radio, and press do several features and interviews a year about our program.

So if you want to become an advocate for your local US military and veteran population, let me know.

Here is a letter I recently sent to a US veteran that wants to get this started in the Florida Pan Handle. It will give you more specifics about getting this program started in your community:

It takes some leg work to get started. I have posters and fliers and cards for you to print and to pass-out: https://hirepatriots.com/free-posters. I went to Chamber of Commerce meetings, gave speeches at Kiwanis, Rotary clubs, churches, and political rallies, and at business meetings. The first task is getting a dozen residents to post jobs.

The second task is letting the local US military and veterans know: I went to the military barber shops and passed out cards, and put up fliers on base and in the windows of stores they frequent. I also just walked down streets and passed out cards to civilians and veterans. I also notified the local newspapers and radio and TV stations: They all let me on for 7 to 20 minutes. I got to educate people about the hardships veterans face during their service, and when they transition. Then I asked them to post jobs on HirePatriots.com.

Once residents begin meeting their local US military and veterans, they normally go bonkers! They love the experience. And it makes them feel good to know that they are doing something helpful for those that have kept our country safe. Of course, veterans also love being able to earn a few hundred to a few thousand extra dollars every month.

When you get the ball rolling, the job board just runs by itself.

My webmaster, Steven Geronimo will send you a link to build your website. You need to think of a name to follow HirePatriots/___?___ that represents your area of company: i.e. HirePatriots/Pensacola, or any name you want.

I have written a book for veterans like you, and patriotic civilians, that want to get HirePatriots going in their region (especially if they own a business): The Patriotic Business Plan: Strategies for Sensational Success . It will give you every step to take. Of course, so will I, all along the way.

P/S. As to the business that I created for veterans that want to own their own company and hire other veterans, that you asked about: US Military Maintenance: Here is a recent post on LinkedIn. It has a recording of a recent USMM team call. This will give you a very good idea of who we are and help you decide if this is right for you. You might also call some of our USMM owners and talk to them: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/must-call-us-veteran-entrepreneurs-mark-baird?trk=mp-reader-card

Let me know if you want to move forward with either of the above.
