What Does “Patriotic” Mean Anymore?
Patriotic: (Adjective) “Having or expressing devotion to and vigorous support for one’s country.
Almost every American considers themselves to be patriotic, both Republicans and Democrats, as well as the non-political. This is our homeland, our nation, and where we establish our lives and assist our children in building theirs’. – We all want the very best for our country. We love America!
This is the Land of the Free. We encourage all people who desire to become fellow American citizens and patriots who seek basic human rights and dignity, and who are willing to work side by side with all the rest of us to achieve a better life for our families and our neighbors. – This is why America is the most beloved and cherished place in the world.
We also use the word “Patriot” for our US Military and Veterans. These are those rare 1% of us who risk their lives across this globe to defend America, and those countries and people who are striving to build Democracies so that they can emulate America and become as free and prosperous as ourselves.
Patriotic Hearts is a non-profit charity that has been serving US Veterans and their families for 20 years. We have been especially effective in assisting US Military in finding employment upon leaving the service. But our unique off-duty job board on HirePatriots.com for those still serving in the US Military has astounded everyone! Here in San Diego, almost 200,000 active Marines and Sailors have helped as many local residents with chores and earned extra money when needed. – (We provide these job boards for free to any US community that has a military base and would like to help them too.)
We have also held numerous military base job fairs, helped put 100+ veterans into their own businesses; and we host 3 day all expense retreats at 5-star beautiful resorts for married wounded warriors. And we will continue to do so for these special American patriots.
We do not pan for monetary donations. There are so many hands out for your money that we hesitate to join that fray.
