5 beautiful things for veterans: Off-Duty Jobs — Career Jobs — Start a Business — Military Marriage Retreats — And a popular Blog: highlighting veterans seeking employment, and the companies seeking them.
Recently, Milspouse (http://militaryspouse.com/) called and asked if HirePatriots also serves military spouses. My answer is a resounding YES! Military spouses must also commit to serving their country when their spouse is called to serve. I applaud their service.
Off-Duty Jobs: If you are still in the US military; or, if you have already transitioned, and still live nearby a base, we have a One Day/ Off Duty job board. Local residents and businesses post jobs everyday for local US Military, veterans, and their spouses (chores and repairs that they want help with, around their homes and yards, etc.) Some military personnel have earned an extra $2000 a month taking these jobs. 3) And we have created a sensational business-in-a-box for them: US Military Maintenance. 35 US veterans have started this business in the last 2-3 years. Some are making over $65K a month! (I built businesses like this for many years. Now, I teach veterans and their spouses how to do what I did. We supply everything you need: website, equipment, documents, marketing material; and we mentor you until you get accounts and start making money, and then employ other veterans. — It is easy to do. This year, we estimate that our USMM owners will be employing over 500 US veterans and their spouses.
4) When we receive a donation to do so, we are able to host a Military Marriage Retreat for 10 couples at a 4 star luxury suites hotel on the beach, in Oceanside Ca. All expenses are paid. They receive gifts. Have a very romantic weekend. And they attend several hours a day of group discussions about marriage, as a peer group.
5) The HirePatriots.com blog is very popular, with thousands of subscribers. We post important info for veterans there. And we profile veterans that are looking for work. And we highlight companies and the jobs they need to fill.
